So two things can be true: someone can be the wrong person for you but still be a person that speaks life over you.

My therapeutic approach is tailored to each of my client's specific needs. However, I work from a Cognitive Behavioral and Adlerian perspective. I recognize that each person has their own unique issues and goals for therapy so I work with my Clients on coming up with the best treatment plan for them.

Yes, I believe that homework helps to keep sessions continuous. It's important that my Clients get better or at least see an improvement in their behavior issues. Homework is a great way to ensure progress.
-
If we are not in network with your insurance, I do provide a sliding scale and sometimes refer clients to sign up with Open Path Collective for a reduced fee for therapy with me.

I schedule parent meetings with the parents/guardians of my clients who are under 18. Parent meetings are either every three months or every six months, depending on the age of your child. During these meetings, parents are given the opportunity to share progress they are witnessing at home and are also given tools that have proven to be effective in therapy. My clients' confidentiality is still protected during these meetings as they are meant to be a check-in.

Most clients have a weekly schedule, while others typically see me bi-weekly. Sessions are generally 45 minutes in duration.
